Megan Carroll
Megan Carroll serves as the Assistant Principal at George Stone Technical College, where she is in her second year of leadership. She brings more than 18 years of experience in education and a strong commitment to helping students grow, achieve, and prepare for their futures.
A proud graduate of Northview High School, Megan began her career at her alma mater, where she taught English, Reading, and Digital Design, and served as the school librarian. During her time there, she also served as the Career and Technical Education Department Chair, where she discovered her passion for career and technical education through teaching Digital Design. Under her leadership, her academy was recognized as the Career Academy of the Year for the district. Beyond the classroom, she was deeply involved in student life—coaching cheerleading, advising the yearbook, assisting with school plays and color guard, and sponsoring organizations such as BETA Club, Interact Club, Student Government Association, and various class councils.
Megan holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the University of West Florida. Her dedication to excellence in education has been recognized through multiple honors, including being named Teacher of the Year twice and earning distinction as one of the district’s Top 5 Teachers.
Now thriving in the postsecondary environment, Megan loves her role at George Stone Technical College and takes great pride in seeing students succeed and take the next steps toward their goals and careers. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and caring for her two dogs, Gryffin and Moses.
Megan believes that educators best serve students by striving to be the people they needed when they were younger. Guided by her favorite quote, “Every battle is won or lost at the threshold of the mind,” she encourages students and colleagues alike to overcome self-doubt and realize their full potential.
Jesse Wolfe
Jesse Wolfe has been with Escambia County Public Schools since 2006 and at GSTC since 2013. During that time, he has served as a AAAE (now ASB) Instructor, Graduation Coach, and since 2017 has been the Adult Education Coordinator. Jesse earned his Bachelor of Science in Technology Management from Texas A&M University-Commerce and his Master of Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida.
Jesse got his start in education as a science teacher at Ernest Ward and then Ransom Middle Schools. He brings in a number of years of experience in Adult and Alternative Education. In addition to his years at GSTC, he has worked at both the Judy Andrews Center and DAART, a residential substance abuse treatment facility for minors.
Jesse feels honored to get to work with the wonderful people at GSTC. He enjoys working with students who have struggled in traditional school settings. One of his favorite quotes is from President John F. Kennedy: "We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too." He likes this quote because he knows that taking that first step in education can feel like going to the moon for some students, but in taking that first step they are changing their lives and the lives of the generations that will follow them.
Jesse is a native of Atmore, AL and has lived in the Pensacola area for most of his adult life. When Jesse is not at GSTC he loves to fish, travel with his family, and watch football with his Pug, Mr. Pugsley.
